The arrival register

Cars and daily rates for the arrival plan

The first car decision often begins before the flight lands. Put the passenger and luggage list beside the arrival information, then compare the vehicle enquiries that may suit the trip. A daily rate does not itself establish where the car can be collected or who will meet you.

BEFORE THE ARRIVAL

People, bags and a meeting plan.

Write down the travellers arriving together and the luggage each will carry. Actual suitcase dimensions are more useful than an undefined small or large load. Share any access preference or equipment requirement through the provider’s accepted enquiry process and ask about the configuration of the proposed vehicle. The photographs below show the named car references; they do not assign a fixed suitcase or passenger capacity to your party.

Keep the flight itinerary and the ground handover plan as two connected pieces of information. Provide the flight number and a suitable contact, then request the accepted meeting place, timing process and instructions for a change. Terminal collection, a rental desk, hotel delivery and a later handover are different arrangements. No one of them follows automatically from an airport-related page title or an image of a car.

Compare the daily rate using the full period between collection and return, with the actual hours and locations. Ask for the complete rental total, deposit process, mileage terms and any selected service. If an electric vehicle is being discussed, include the accommodation’s charging and parking arrangements as well. A practical comparison keeps the same travellers and trip details for each car rather than quietly changing the load to make a photograph seem suitable.

Plan the departure side while organising the arrival. Hotel check-out, unloading, the car return and the airport journey may need their own sequence. Keep the agreed handover contact and address accessible and leave a realistic window for the final condition review. Open a model brief below to gather the relevant questions, then ask the rental team to confirm the actual vehicle and the arrangement for your visit.

Make the handover a clear conversation.

  1. 01Send the actual travel dates and flight information.
  2. 02Describe the people, bags and access needs.
  3. 03Confirm the car, meeting point and full terms.

Confirm your dates, the exact vehicle, mileage terms, deposit and complete rental total with the team.
